Nasiol MetalGuard is a one-component, rust- and corrosion-resistant nano-ceramic coating that protects the underwater and above-water metal parts of boats and yachts against harsh marine conditions. It delivers long-lasting protection against corrosion and salt-water damage while adding water and oil repellency, UV resistance, and a deep gloss. The highly repellent surface means contaminants slide off with an effortless wipe, making cleaning far easier. Featuring 10H hardness, MetalGuard suits metal carabiners, stainless rails, anchors, and mooring cleats, with up to 1 season of durability.

Technical data from the Nasiol MetalGuard Technical Data Sheet (Artekya Teknoloji Ltd. Şti.). Refer to the Safety Data Sheet before use.
MetalGuard is a one-component, rust- and corrosion-resistant nano-coating that protects the metal parts of boats and yachts against saltwater and harsh environmental conditions. It is for metals and alloys — metal carabiners, inox rails, anchors, mooring cleats, and similar. Apply in a shaded, well-ventilated area on cool surfaces, working no larger than 1 m² per session.
- Make sure the surface is dry and free of dust, wax, oil, grease, and other contamination. If needed, clean with a clay bar and/or polish using appropriate tools and silica- and wax-free cutting compounds.
- Prepare the surface with Nasiol Clean Marine to improve bonding, and dry with a lint-free microfiber cloth so no residual contamination remains.
- Wear the included nitrile gloves and shake gently before use. Fold each microfiber cloth four times and don't re-use a side you've used. Keep the lid closed during application.
- Spray the essential amount onto the surface with the trigger bottle and buff immediately with a dry, lint-free microfiber cloth in circular motions. If a hazy look appears from drying or under-buffing, apply a little more product to that spot and buff again.
- Keep the coated surface away from water and contamination for 24 hours and don't perform harsh tests on it.
MetalGuard is for bare metals and alloys. Do not apply to plastic, painted metals and alloys, rusty surfaces, ceramic and enamel, or glass. In the presence of any rust or oxidation, refine the surface first with an appropriate metal/alloy cleaner.
Store containers tightly closed in a dry, well-ventilated space away from heat and ignition sources at -3°C to 30°C. The product's color may turn orange or light brown over the storage period. Do not return excess product to its original container. Shelf life is 12 months from production date in unopened packaging under these conditions. After opening, use within one week.
