Heavy Cut Compound Red is a high-performance polishing compound engineered for the toughest paint defects. Its diminishing abrasive particles cut powerfully at first and gradually refine the surface as they break down, leaving a smoother finish ready for the next polishing step. Application areas include automobile, motorcycle, aircraft, and train paints with deep and severe scratches.
- Wash the vehicle properly before polishing. Clay bar if required, then wash again.
- Mask off and protect trims, lights, rubber, and all components other than the vehicle body with suitable masking tape.
- Shake well before use. Apply 3–4 pea-sized drops onto a polishing pad (wool or heavy-cut foam recommended).
- Work with a rotary or orbital machine using the cross-coating method, maintaining a consistent low-to-medium speed for best results.
- Buff the residue with a clean microfiber towel. Follow up with Nasiol Medium Cut Compound if required.
Protect trims, lights, rubber, and all components other than the vehicle body with masking tape before compounding.
Store unopened packaging in a dry, well-ventilated space away from heat and ignition sources at 15°C to 25°C / 59°F to 77°F. Shelf life is 12 months from production date in unopened packaging under these conditions. Close the lid after every use to avoid deterioration.
