Technical data from the Nasiol Headlight Restorer Kit Technical Data Sheet (Artekya Teknoloji Ltd. Şti.). Refer to the Safety Data Sheet before use.
The Nasiol Headlight Restorer Kit renovates oxidized, yellowed headlights without cutting compounds, then seals them with a nano-ceramic coating that protects against UV to slow further oxidation. It applies to headlights, taillights, fog lights, directional lights, polycarbonate, plexiglass, and vinyl plastic. Application to a mid-size car takes 20–30 minutes; work at 5–30°C / 41–86°F and ≤50% RH, out of direct sunlight on cool surfaces.
- Open the hood to access the headlights. Wash them with car shampoo and rinse well, then tape the edges of the lens to protect the bodywork.
- Wearing gloves, keep the lens wet and scrub with 500, 1000, and 2000 grit sandpaper until it becomes cloudy. One set of sandpaper is enough for a heavily oxidized headlight.
- Clean the surface with Nasiol Clean (or any cleaner without isopropyl alcohol) and make sure the headlights and surroundings are dry.
- Put on clean gloves, fold the applicator pad in four, and pour 1–2 lines of product onto the pad (maximum 2 mL for a mid-size car's headlights). Apply gently in a one-way motion — no buffing needed. Clean the bottle edges and close the lid tightly.
- Wait 4 hours to dry and cure at room temperature (do not force-cure with infrared or heat). Keep the coated surface away from direct sunlight, the elements, contamination, and water for 24 hours; water contact during curing can cause staining that would need sanding and re-application.
One 10 mL kit renews the headlights of 3–4 cars. Once cured, the coating is very hard to remove — removal requires a heavy cutting compound or wet-sanding with P1000 grit.
Store containers tightly closed in a dry, well-ventilated space away from heat and ignition sources at -3°C to 30°C. Shelf life is 12 months from production date in unopened packaging under these conditions. After opening, use within one month, and wipe the container edges and close securely after each use to prevent crystallization.
